Annelore’s German Bakery is a traditional old-world Konditorei. The hearty scent of breads, the sweet aromas of our signature artisan pastries, and bustle of the open kitchen are a few of the inviting features our location in Cary has to offer. Made with imported German ingredients, our traditional recipes passed on through generations provide a unique and excellent taste.
Join us for a fresh pastry, a cup of coffee, and an experience that can’t be found anywhere else in the Triangle.
The Brötchen, a roll with a crunchy crust and soft center, is a mainstay for sandwiches in Austria. My mother tried making these in the States after out family lived there for a few tears in the 1960s, but the taste was never the same without the special flour. These are the real deal—I ate five in two hours.
